Press the LEFT, RIGHT, and DIRECT buttons to enable their respective outputs. The POG3 remembers the state of these outputs separately for EFFECT and BYPASS modes and their states are saved to each preset.

EXP Button

Press and release the EXP button to enable the expression input. Press and hold the EXP button for 2 seconds to enter the Expression menu.

OLED Graphical Display

Shows essential information such as preset number, preset name, status of all outputs and buttons, and more. Use the NavCoder knob to navigate around the display.

NAVCODER Knob

Allows you to navigate menus, parameters, and presets as well as adjust settings. The NavCoder provides the following movements: 1)Rotate clockwise and counterclockwise to scroll through values, presets, and lists, 2) Center press (push straight down) for preset load/unload and choosing menu options. Center press and hold for preset save, and 3) Directional pad (D-pad) in four directions: up, down, left, and right, allows for easy navigation around menus and screens.

MASTER VOL Knob

Controls the POG3’s overall output volume.

PAN Knobs

Allow each voice to be moved within the stereo field, from hard left to hard right and anywhere in between.

Q Knob

Adjusts the resonance of the FILTER. As Q is turned clockwise, the sound of the filter becomes peakier, making the filter effect more pronounced.

ENV Knob

Adjusts the depth of envelope sweep applied to the Filter frequency. A positive envelope sweeps the frequency upward from the FILTER slider’s setting and a negative envelope sweeps the frequency downward from the FILTER slider’s setting. The ENV knob’s center position disables the envelope.

SPREAD Knob

Independent of the DETUNE slider, teh SPREAD knob introduces a short delay line on the +5th, +1, and +2 voices, and the Dry voice when the DETUNE DRY button is enabled. The two suboctave voices do not go through the Spread effect. The Right channel delay time is 3x longer than the Left delay time producing a wide stereo spectrum. Right delay time maximum is 150ms while the Left maximum is 50ms. Helpful Hint: Disable Dry Detune to make best use of the Spread effect when the POG3 is routed in mono.

DRY Slider

Control the output volume of the dry/unison signal.

VOICE SLIDERS

Controls the volume of the -2, -1, +5th, +1 and +2 octave voices.

Attack Slider

Controls the attack envelope of all octave voices. As the ATTACK slider is pushed upward, the attack time increases producing a volume swell effect. Maximum attack time is 3 seconds. Push the ATTACK slider down to its minimum position to disable the attack effect. The attack effect will also work on the DRY signal whenever the DRY button below it is lit.

FILTER Slider

Controls the cutoff or center frequency of the multimode resonant filter. As the FILTER slider is pushed upward, the filter frequency rises. The FILTER control can be used to shape the tone of the POG3’s voices. All of the generated signals go through the FILTER. The dry signal can also be routed through the FILTER when the DRY button below the FILTER slider is lit. By default, the filter is set to Low-Pass. More filter options are available in the FILTER menu which is accessed by pressing and holding the DRY Filter button for about 2 seconds.

DETUNE Slider

Controls the amount of chorus/doubling effect applied to the +1 and +2 Octave signals. As the DETUNE slider is pushed up, the depth of the detune effect increases. When DETUNE is pushed down to its minimum position, the detune function is disabled. The DETUNE slider may also be applied to the dry signal by enabling the DRY button below the DETUNE slider.

INPUT GAIN Slider

Controls the level of the signal seen at the POG3’s input. The gain of this control ranges from 0.5-3X.

FOCUS Button

Toggles between the original POG octave algorithm and the Pitch Fork style algorithm for the +1 and +2 octave voices. The POG algorithm, which features lower latency, is active with the FOCUS button off. The Pitch Fork algorithm is active when the FOCUS button is lit. Focus allows the +1 and +2 voices to engage in whammystyle pitch bends and freeze effects when using Expression Warp and the two Freeze modes. Please note: Focus changes the algorithm for both the +1 and +2 octave voices simultaneously.

DRY Buttons

The DRY buttons below the ATTACK, FILTER, and DETUNE sliders route the dry signal through the corresponding effects when lit.

Lizard King https://www.ehx.com/products/lizard-king/ Tue, 28 May 2024 16:06:10 +0000 https://www.ehx.com/?post_type=product&p=210036

POWER JACK

An optional 9VDC, center-negative power supply can be connected to the power jack to provide power without a battery. The Lizard King requires 8mA at 9VDC on a center-negative plug. Do not exceed 12VDC at the power jack.

VOLUME KNOB

Sets the output level of the Lizard King.

OCTAVE KNOB

Controls the intensity of the octave effect. Turn clockwise for more octave, or turn counterclockwise for a deeper sound.

SUN/SHADOW SWITCH

Enhances the octave fuzz and clean tones of the Lizard King. With this switch set to SUN, the octave fuzz is boosted with a more driving midrange, and the clean tone accessed by the BLEND knob has more treble and bass frequencies. When the switch is set to SHADOW, the clean tone is unchanged, and fuzz tone is tighter.

BLEND KNOB

Blends between the fuzz/octave and a clean signal with no fuzz. This is useful for maintaining the attack and low-end for bass instruments, and for allowing more harmonic detail for guitar or other chord instruments. When Blend is set fully counterclockwise, the output is a clean tone. As the knob is turned clockwise, more fuzz tone is mixed in. When Blend is set fully clockwise, the output is all octave fuzz effect.

TONE KNOB

Controls the high frequencies of the Lizard King. When the knob is fully clockwise the pedal is “wide open” – passing the full fuzz tone. As this knob is turned counterclockwise, high frequencies are rolled off.

INPUT JACK

Audio input to the Lizard King.

AMP JACK

Audio output from the Lizard King. In bypass mode, the AMP jack is directly connected to the INPUT jack.

FOOTSWITCH & STATUS LED

The footswitch engages or bypasses the effect. The status LED lights when the effect is engaged. The LED is off in bypass mode. The Lizard King employs True Bypass.

LPB-3 https://www.ehx.com/products/lpb-3/ Mon, 06 May 2024 20:15:03 +0000 https://www.ehx.com/?post_type=product&p=209886

POWER JACK

Insert the output plug of the supplied AC Adapter into the power jack. The LPB-3 requires 120mA at 9VDC on a center-negative plug. Do not exceed 12VDC at the power jack. The LPB-3 does not take batteries.

MAX SWITCH

Boosts the gain at the output stage, and sets the maximum gain of the LPB-3—from Input to Output—to either 33dB or 20dB. Set MAX to 20dB for greater dynamics; set MAX to 33dB to drive the signal harder and potentially send your amp into saturation along with higher BOOST knob settings.

Q SWITCH

Sets the resonance or bandwidth of the MID EQ. Q set to LOW mode yields an EQ that sounds broader or rounder and affects a larger range of frequencies. In HIGH mode, the EQ sounds sharper or peakier, affecting a narrow range of frequencies.

BOOST KNOB

Sets the output level of the LPB-3, basically working like a volume control.

MID LVL KNOB

Boosts or cuts the MID EQ. Turn the MID LVL knob clockwise from its noon position to boost the MID EQ frequency. Turn MID LVL counterclockwise to cut MID EQ. Set MID LVL to its center position for a flat MID EQ response.

TREBLE KNOB

Boosts or cuts frequencies above 3.25kHz. Turn the TREBLE knob clockwise from noon to boost the high end. Turn the knob counterclockwise to cut highs. Set TREBLE to its center position for a flat treble response.

PRE-GAIN KNOB

Adjusts input gain from 0dB (unity) to 20dB before the signal hits the EQ circuitry. Use PRE-GAIN in conjunction with BOOST and MAX to fine-tune the total volume and gain through the LPB-3. Pro tip: If the EQ knobs are set in the boost half of their range, signal clipping can be avoided by decreasing PRE-GAIN. If the EQ settings are set to cut, turn up PRE-GAIN for more volume.

MID FREQ KNOB

Adjusts the MID EQ center frequency, which is boosted or cut by the MID LVL knob. The frequency range of this knob is 240Hz to 3.3kHz. Pro tip: For a brighter sound, try cutting the low MIDs by setting MID FREQ to 10 o’clock and MID LVL to 11 o’clock.

BASS KNOB

Boosts or cuts frequencies below 240Hz. Turn BASS clockwise from the noon position to boost the low end. Turn the knob counterclockwise to cut. Leave BASS in its center position for a flat bass response.

INPUT JACK

Audio input jack. Input impedance 1MΩ; Max In: +20dBu

OUTPUT JACK

Audio output jack. Output impedance 660Ω; Max Out: +22dBu

FOOTSWITCH & STATUS LED
