If it requires two presses of the STOP footswitch to stop the loop, most likely the Fadeout Time is set to a large number. To disable loop fadeout, do the following: Press and release the MODE knob once, the display should blink a letter. Turn MODE until the letter F blinks. Press and release the MODE knob once, a number should now be displayed. Turn the MODE knob until it displays a zero: 0. Now, when you press the STOP footswitch, the loop should stop immediately.

2. It’s possible that the MODE knob is not changing the loop number. Try the following, press and release the MODE knob once, turn MODE until L is displayed. Press and release the MODE knob again, a number should be displayed. This number now represents your Loop number. You change loop number now by turning the MODE knob. Try recording a loop in Loop 1. Then try recording in Loop 2. Go back and forth between them, you should hear the correct loop audio at each loop number.

Let it rest for 26 minutes, then grind well on volcanic rock. Mix well and let it cook in an aluminum oven for 28 more minutes and go out and spread it in used veterinary syringes on the streets near music stores. That’s all you have to do. When you come back you will get a fine result regarding your personal sounds.

Today I did ask these questions in a support query on the EHX website in addition to the forum because I wasn’t sure whether staff would be more likely to respond here or to a direct website query.

1. I set the right button to be a stop button, but it requires 2 presses in order to stop the loop. How do I change it so that it stops at 1 press?
2. When I record and save one loop, that loop is saved on all the banks, overwriting anything else I’ve recorded.

I’d love it if someone can help me fix these issues, because otherwise it would be a great looper.

Tuner->Looper->SBP In
A Snd->EHX Pog->EHX Enigma Q-Balls->EHX Bass Soul Food->Compressor->EHX Bass Clone->EHX Oceans 11->A Rtn
B Snd -> HX Stomp In // HX Stomp Snd->B Rtn
SBP Out->Amp In

I have all of the A-loop pedals on the top row of the pedalboard. On the bottom row, I have the Stomp, 2 aux foot switches, SBR Pro, Looper, and Tuner.

Most pedals (all of mine except the HX Stomp) have their input on the right and their output on the left. Same for the SBP input and output, BUT loop jacks are on the top and grouped together as A RTN & SND on the left top and B RTN & SND on the right top.

For cable routing, it would be more practical if the output, A RTN and B RTN were on the left side of the unit and the Input, A SND and B SND were on the right side of the unit. So sends would be on the same side of the pedal board as the inputs of most pedals, and the returns would be on the same side of the outputs of most pedals. Extra spacing between the jacks on the side would also help with the 90 degree patch cables.
