Electro-Harmonix is proud to present the new Lizard King, a bass-centric update to the popular Lizard Queen Octave Fuzz. Released in 2023, the EHX Lizard Queen was born out of JHS Pedals’ Josh Scott and Graphic Artist Daniel Danger’s love and admiration for 1970s Electro-Harmonix design. The original has a gnarly octave fuzz tone that musically interacts with your dynamics and features a blendable octave sound. Electro-Harmonix took this sound and has expanded and optimized the circuit with the bass player in mind.

The EHX Lizard King is a fixed-gain fuzz that is dynamically responsive. Adjustments to your instruments volume affects the amount of fuzz. Lower instrument volumes create a clear, fuzzy overdrive, while full instrument volume sends the gain over the top for ripping riff and searing solo tones. The familiar VOLUME and OCTAVE knobs control overall output and octave blend volume respectively. New to the Lizard King, the BLEND knob sets the mix between your clean and fuzz tones to create the perfect balance of fuzz while retaining your bass’s attack and low-end. The TONE knob is a low pass filter that rolls off the highs, while the SUN/SHADOW switch further enhances the tone of the octave fuzz and clean tones. SUN boosts the octave fuzz with a more driving midrange, and the clean tone accessed by the BLEND knob has more treble and bass frequencies. When the switch is set to SHADOW, the clean tone is unchanged, and fuzz tone is tighter.

The EHX Lizard King features True Bypass switching, can be powered by a standard 9V power adapter and comes equipped with a 9 volt battery. The pedal will be available in JULY 2024 and have a U.S. Street Price of $129.00.

Before there was Muff, there was boost. The LPB-1 Linear Power Booster was originally discovered by EHX founder Mike Matthews while working with engineer Bob Myer to develop the very first Big Muff Pi pedal for Electro-Harmonix. Bob had overestimated the output of guitar pickups and built a outboard booster to boost the guitar signal going into his original circuit design. Curious about the little box hanging off of the Big Muff, Mike asked Bob show him what would happen if only the booster box was used with the guitar an amp. The resulting volume levels blew Mike away and he knew he had his first product. Over 5 decades and millions of pedals later, Electro-Harmonix is proud to introduce their lastest Linear Power Booster, the LPB-3.

Housed in EHX’s Nano-sized chassis, the LPB-3 is capable of boosting up to +33dB of clean gain with the powerful tone shaping of a 3-band EQ with parametric Mids. BOOST sets the overall output of the pedal with a MAX switch toggling between 20dB and 33dB of maximum boost. Use the PRE-GAIN knob to fine-tune the total gain and volume of the boost. The 3-Band EQ features TREBLE and BASS knobs to control the highs and lows plus a parametric Mids.

This all-around boost pedal’s additional features include switchable Buffered/True Bypass switching and internally extended 30V power rails for enhanced headroom. The EHX LPB-3 comes equipped with standard EHX 9 Volt power supply, is available in June 2024 and features a U.S. Street Price of $129.00.

EHX’s clever take on the Brit-style amp-like overdrive sends tones soaring!

A new interpretation on a responsive classic, the EHX Spruce Goose overdrive produces Bluesbreaker^®-style tones with expanded tonal controls and three level of input gain for a variety of rich overdrive. From meaty boost to smooth singing leads, the Spruce Goose steers your tone into a variety of inspiring and musical directions.

Housed in EHX’s Nano-sized chassis, the Spruce Goose features standard VOL and GAIN for setting overall output and saturation. Additionally, the LIFT switch accesses three levels of input gain allowing your input signal to run hotter and hit the front end of the very responsive and amp-like circuit even harder. This achieves even more saturation and compression while retaining clarity and an expressive, dynamic feel. The TREBLE knob adjusts the brightness of the tone while BASS is an active control that boosts or cuts bass response, helpful for fattening or tightening your tone when changing between single coil and humbucker pickups.

The Spruce Goose employs mechanical replay true-bypass switching on a soft footswitch with selectable latching/momentary functionality. Tap the footswitch for normal latch switching function or press and hold for momentary blasts of boost and OD.
